Lennon's Art For Sale

A collection of drawings by John Lennon that trace his life from the later days of the Beatles to the birth of his son Sean has gone on display in John’s hometown. The permanent display of limited edition prints, unveiled Tuesday, is housed at Liverpool’s Matthew Street Gallery, yards away from the site of the Cavern Club, where the Beatles once played. The prints — which are for sale — date to 1968 and show the years Lennon spent with Yoko Ono. The most expensive print (nearly $10,000) bears Lennon’s signature and depicts his 1969 wedding to Yoko.
