Lena Dunham is firing back at online haters who accused her of supporting Hillary Clinton for president based solely on the fact that she’s a woman.

The Girls star and creator caught flack from Instagram followers on Friday after she shared the above photo of herself holding an “I’m with Hillary” bumper sticker between her teeth. The sticker was a souvenir from her visit to Clinton’s campaign headquarters in Brooklyn.

“Had the pleasure of visiting campaign headquarters in my very own Brooklyn!” wrote Dunham, 29. “Didn’t find the grande dame herself but this bumper sticker is pretty dope Getting excited.”

A grateful Clinton re-Tweeted the photo.

But others took aim at the actress on Instagram, accusing her of supporting Clinton, 67, just because she’s a woman.

“I really can’t believe that you aren’t voting for her solely because she’s a woman,” one user commented, according to E! News. “Stick to making HBO shows about obnoxious, overprivileged brats in their twenties.”

As you can imagine, this didn’t sit well with Dunham, who used a photo of another fierce lady, Lil’ Kim, to fire back at her critics.

Dunham has been on Team Hillary ever since the former secretary of state announced her second presidential bid on April 12. In fact, that very day, she posted the following images on her Instagram:

At least one good thing has come out of Dunham’s social media squabble – a pretty badass new campaign slogan for Clinton.
