We’re not sure if Larry David is a Knicks fan. But judging by his expression at this Knicks game, we’re also not sure if he’s an anything fan.

The Seinfeld creator and Curb Your Enthusiasm star recently appeared in the HBO film Clear History, though it seems to have done little to elevate his mood.

Given that David has made an entire career out of being an eternally put-upon outsider, a photo of him intently scowling at nothing in particular while surrounded by people who seem to be having the time of their lives is probably the most appropriate visual for him we can think of.

David’s work on Curb frequently mined his real life for laughs. After his divorce, he said that he’d probably joke about the split if he ever returned to standup. In the same interview, he quipped that after his divorce from environmental activist Laurie David, he “went home and turned all the lights on.” Maybe his next movie should be called Basketball Game Not Enjoyed By All.

Well, it’s official: We’ve found Grumpy Cat‘s most appropriate human double.
