New photos posted by Kylie Jenner on Instagram have some fans calling out the latter, even as Jenner has told everyone to “calm down.” In her first post on Saturday from a new, highly stylized photo shoot, the 17-year-old Jenner captioned the photo, “Making MAGiC w/ KYLiZZLE. PEEPS BE GETTING TURNT UP ON THIS SKIN SITCH. BLACK LIGHTS & NEON. Does no body know about lighting ??” According to E! Online, she also added, “What I wish I looked like all the time thank you.” Some on social media quickly took notice of Jenner’s apparently darker skin color and that photo was soon deleted. Disney Channel star Zendaya initially showed support for Jenner’s look, encouraging the reality star in the form of several clapping hands emoji. But the outcry changed her mind. “At first, I saw more of an avatar look but thank y’all for keepin me on point….we all gotta stay aware of what image we project #lessons,” she Tweeted. Jenner responded to the accusations of “blackface” by sharing two different images from the shoot. “This is a black light and neon lights people lets all calm down,” she wrote on one of them. And in the second, simply, “Goodnight.” Kelly Cutrone Shares Her Thoughts on Kendall and Kylie Jenner
