Sunday night marks the final chapter in HBO’s popular “Sex and the City” — but don’t expect Kristin Davis to give up her wardrobe.
Davis, 38, who played Charlotte (the wide-eyed optimist of the group) for six seasons, says she will be allowed to keep much of the wardrobe she received during the show’s run. Everything, that is, except for some awkward-fitting footwear.
“I have a lot of her shoes, except for the ones I’m really, really sick of because they hurt,” the actress tells Associated Press radio.
As the popular show winds to a close, Davis’s feet aren’t the only things hurting. Having had the chance to play Charlotte has been “incredibly flattering, especially now that we’re going,” she said. “People are so sad and kind of adorable about it, and it just makes you so thankful to have been a part of it.”
Meanwhile, fans of the show have the opportunity to snag a bit of memorabilia from the series, including the Badgley Mischka wedding dress Charlotte wore during her wedding to Harry Goldenblatt (played by Evan Handler). An online auction is running now through Feb. 23 at HBO.com.
