Recovering from an on-set injury, the actress thanks her fans "for support and love"

Nearly two weeks after suffering an injury on the set of The Good Wife, Kristin Chenoweth spoke out for the first time about her recovery.

“To all my fans: thank you for support and love!” Chenoweth Tweeted on Tuesday, her 44th birthday. “Doin better everyday. More to come when I’m able! I love you guys xo.”

The actress was hospitalized overnight after she was hit by a piece of falling lighting equipment July 11 while filming on the Brooklyn location.

Chenoweth, a Tony-winning Broadway star and an Emmy winner for Pushing Daisies, has a recurring role on the CBS drama.
