For Interview‘s 40th anniversary, cover girl Kristen Stewart was interviewed by celebrated actor Dennis Hopper – who accepted the assignment with a bit of an ulterior motive.

“My daughter is your biggest fan, so I thought, ‘What the hell?’ ” the actor joked when Stewart admiringly asked why he agreed to conduct the Q&A. The daughter made out too: The Twilight star happily obliged to speak to Hopper’s 6-year-old daughter, Galen.

Fan encounters have become old hat for the 19-year-old star, who is readying for the launch of another press tour to promote the release of Twilight sequel New Moon, out Nov. 20.

“I feel so boring because Twilight is literally how every conversation I have these days begins,” she tells Hopper.

And with the pandemonium surrounding the franchise showing no signs of slowing down, Stewart understands the media attention is here to stay.

“All I’m thinking of is the fact that everything that I say is going to be criticized – not criticized, just evaluated and analyzed. And it’s always something that matters so much to me that doesn’t come out right.”

Further impeding her daily routine is Stewart’s constant presence in the tabloids, especially when it comes to her much speculated about relationship with costar Robert Pattinson.

“I don’t talk to anybody about my personal life, and maybe that perpetuates it, too,” she says. “The only way for me not to have somebody know where I went the night before is if I didn’t go out at all. So that’s what I’m trading.”
