Celebrity Kris Jenner Opens Up About Her Divorce: 'You Just Do the Best You Can' "You have to be grown-ups," she says of dealing with the split in the public eye By Tim Nudd and Reagan Alexander Published on October 10, 2014 10:25 AM Share Tweet Pin Email Photo: Michael Buckner/Getty It’s been a difficult year for Kris Jenner, who split from her husband of 22 years, Bruce Jenner, last October and filed for divorce last month. But as the pair continue filming the 10th season of their reality show, Keeping Up with the Kardashians – and co-parenting their daughters Kendall and Kylie – Jenner says they “are just trying to be grown-ups about the situation.” “We have children together, and we have families and memories and holidays and traditions. I don’t want to give that up. I don’t want him to take that away from me, and I don’t want to take that away from him,” Jenner, 58, told PEOPLE Wednesday at the Philanthropic Society Los Angeles’s 5th Annual PSLA Autumn Party, benefiting Children’s Institute Inc. “We work together to make sure that we’re both happy. We are well-rounded human beings that are going through a tough time,” she added. “You just do the best that you can.” The couple’s split, of course, is more public than most. But that doesn’t bother them, Jenner says. “We’re used to the cameras,” she explained. “We’ve always shared everything, what’s going on in the family, so I don’t think that part is uncomfortable.” As for when she might start dating again, that’s a trickier topic. “That’s the $60 million question,” Jenner said. “I don’t know. I don’t know yet. It’s [daunting].” Want more stories like this? Sign up for our newsletter and other special offers: sign me up Thank you for signing up!
