Kim Kardashian's ex re-signs with the same NBA team he played for last season
Kris Humphries is getting back together with a familiar partner this winter, but it isn’t Kim Kardashian. It’s the New Jersey Nets.
Humphries, 26, whose tumultuous off-season included a 72-day marriage to the reality star, 31, re-signed on Tuesday with the Nets, the same team he played for last year.
Yahoo! Sports was the first to report the news.
The 6-ft.-9-in. power forward averaged 10 points and 10 rebounds per game for the Nets last season. His new deal is reportedly for one year and $8 million.
Earlier this month, Humphries told Good Morning America that he just wanted to put the whole Kardashian episode behind him.
“Through everything, I’m just focused on family and preparing for basketball,” he said. “For me, it’s just, certain things happen in life and you’ve got to move forward. I’m excited to be where I’m at right now, with the NBA season coming up.”
