Kourtney Kardashian Is 'Angry and Disappointed' More Than 'Sad' About Scott Disick Split, Source Says

The reality star, who split from longtime boyfriend Scott Disick earlier this week, is focused on her kids

Kourtney Kardashian isn’t shedding too many tears after breaking up with longtime boyfriend Scott Disick, a source close to Kardashian tells PEOPLE.

“She is more angry and disappointed than sad,” says the source. “She has been let down by Scott many times in the past, but she is done this time.”

Kardashian, 36, who has three children with Disick – Mason Dash, 5, Penelope, 3, Reign Aston, 6 months – is taking things day by day the source explains, adding that “she is focused on her kids.”

Given Disick’s recent and troubling past antics, the 36-year-old mom is making sure her children are a “top priority.”

“She doesn’t want the kids to be around his behavior,” the source says. “Kourtney will do whatever it takes to protect the kids.”

Since splitting with Disick, 32, after photos surfaced of him partying in the South of France with stylist Chloe Bartoli, Kardashian has been receiving support from those closest to her.

“Her whole family is supporting and helping her,” the source tells PEOPLE.

The source adds that Kardashian’s sisters Kim and Khloé “are helping her daily with whatever she needs.” Kim accompanied her sister to Disneyland on Wednesday to celebrate niece Penelope’s third birthday – an event that notably did not include Disick.

“Although things are difficult for Kourtney right now, everyone knows she will eventually be fine,” says the source. “She is very strong.”
