Kim Richards Pens Touching Tribute to Late Ex-Husband Monty Brinson: 'I Know We'll Be Together Again One Day'
"Monty was an amazing person with an amazing soul," Richards wrote.
“Yesterday I said goodbye to best the friend I’ve ever had in my life,” Richards, 51, wrote on her social media accounts Monday.
“Monty was an amazing person with an amazing soul… We shared over 30 years of Love & Happiness and brought a beautiful daughter into world,” she continued adding, “I am so grateful for all that we shared. I know we will be together again one day. I love you Monty.”
During Richards’ time on Bravo’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, cameras followed as the reality star took care of her ailing ex-husband, who was battling lung cancer.
“My angel in heaven, and I know that we be together again one day. I will carry you in my heart always my love… until then, may you rest in peace,” Richards concluded her post.
Brinson was married to Richards from 1985-88. A year after they married, the two welcomed daughter, Brooke, who is now 29.
Brooke shared one of her favorite father-daughter photos on Instagram writing, “Yesterday we lost an amazing man. My father fought till the very end and never gave up. He was surrounded by everyone he loved and went peacefully.”
“We love you @montybrinson you will be missed dearly. The kindest, gentlest soul who inspired so many with his positive attitude throughout his battle with cancer. May you rest in peace now,” Kim’s younger sister wrote.
