THE FAM ARRIVES TO RED CARPET TREATMENT
According to Reuters, Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan receives the Kardashians in the country's capital, Yerevan, and commends them for helping promote "international recognition and condemnation of the Armenian genocide," he says in a statement on Wednesday.
CROWDS GATHER TO WELCOME THEM

Kim is so overwhelmed that Kanye and North joined her to celebrate her heritage that she can't fall asleep. "My husband and daughter came to Armenia to see my heritage and learn about my ancestors! THE SISTERS VISIT THE MOTHER ARMENIA STATUE
Kim, Khloé and their hairstylist, Jen Atkin, arrive at the Mother Armenia statue in Yerevan, a sacred structure that "symbolizes peace through strength," Khloé posts on Instagram on Thursday. "It can remind viewers of some of the prominent female figures in Armenian history. Who took up arms to help their husbands in their clashes with Turkish troops and Kurdish irregulars."

"Hovik Abrahamyan hailed the fact that members of the Kardashian family never forgot their roots and added that their visit would make Armenia better recognizable," reported the Public Radio of Armenia of the event. The PRA also reported that the Kardashians apologized for not knowing how to speak Armenian – but that they're working on it!
