Inside Kim Kardashian West's Day Before She Was Held at Gunpoint in Her Paris Hotel Room
Kardashian West was held at gunpoint in her Paris hotel room by five men disguised as police officers
Kardashian West’s Sunday in Paris was a big one, with two fashion shows and a late-night high-fashion dinner party – and she shared nearly every moment on social media with her fans.
A rep for the 35-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star told PEOPLE that armed, masked men broke into her hotel room in Paris early Monday and held her at gunpoint. She was “badly shaken,” but physically unharmed during the incident.
Her Sunday began about 1 p.m. Paris time when she Snapchatted her car ride to the Balenciaga show, where she went makeup (and bra) free.
A short time later, she was at the Paris gallery for her husband Kanye West‘s Yeezy fashion line – showing off some pieces she has worn herself.
About 7:30 p.m., she shared a photo of herself in her Balenciaga outfit with bodyguard Pascal Duvier. She joked, “This guy is always in my shot!”
She also shared a series of photos on Twitter captioned “FASHION WEEK FACIAL.”
By 9 p.m., she was in a sheer negligee and silk robe to attend the Givenchy SS17 show, in which sister Kendall Jenner walked.
Just before midnight, she and Kourtney Kardashian were dressed in full leather by Azzedine Alaïa (Kim wore white snakeskin) for a dinner in the fashion designer’s honor.
The sisters were pictured with Duvier again when they left the Alaïa dinner.
Then, about 2:30 a.m., Kardashian West showed herself back at her hotel FaceTiming with Chyna to wish her a happy baby shower in L.A., which was her last social media post of the day.
According to BFM TV, Kardashian West was staying at the No Address Hotel when five men dressed as police entered the hotel through the service entrance. The men threatened the concierge, who was forced to take the men to the E! personality’s room. BFM TV reports they entered her room around 2:30 a.m. Monday morning, tied up Kardashian West – who was then locked in her bathroom – and stole two cellphones, a $4 million ring and a $6 million bag of jewels.
