Kim Kardashian Is Standing by Her 'Best Friend and Soulmate' Kanye West Despite Marital Frustrations: Source

A source tells PEOPLE the two "love each other deeply"

Kim Kardashian West is standing by her man.

While rumors of marriage trouble between the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star and husband Kanye West have been circulating ever since the rapper was hospitalized for exhaustion last week, a source close to couple tells PEOPLE there aren’t serious issues in the relationship.

“That is not accurate,” says the insider. “There are frustrations and problems, like any relationship, but they love each other deeply.”

According to the source, West is the star’s “best friend and soulmate.”

West, 39, was hospitalized on Nov. 21, shortly after he canceled the remaining 21 dates of his Saint Pablo tour. Kardashian West, 36, was in New York City planning on attending the 2016 Angel Ball — which honored her late father Robert Kardashian, who died of esophageal cancer in 2003 — but skipped out on the gala at the last minute to rush back to Los Angeles to be by West’s side.

In the days that followed, Kardashian West spent much of her time with her husband at the hospital, and a source told PEOPLE last week she was “very concerned” and had “barely” left his side.

West remained hospitalized through Thanksgiving. As of Wednesday, he had been discharged from UCLA Medical Center, and a source told PEOPLE the artist is “home, getting some rest.”

“Kanye is at home with Kim and the kids,” said another insider of the family, which includes daughter North, 3, and son Saint, who turns 1 on Monday. “He seems okay and happy to be home. Kim’s family is visiting.”

According to the source, West “will continue to receive treatment and help with how to cope with stress.”

“He needs to learn how to better balance his work and family life,” said the insider.
