Inside Kim and Kanye's Wedding Celebration – All the Details

From the food to the flowers, new details about the couple's very big night

Now that Kim Kardashian and Kanye West are officially married, it’s time for the real fun to begin.

The party is in full effect at the sweeping Forte di Belvedere in Florence, Italy, where the couple exchanged vows on Saturday before a wall of flowers – echoing the lavish Mother’s Day gift West gifted to his bride earlier this month.

Adding to the glamorous backdrop: more than $100,000 worth of floral arrangements from one of Florence’s oldest flower shops, Thierry Boutemy. The shop delivered arrangements to the fort earlier in the day, including tuberose flowers, a fragrant white bloom indigenous to Mexico.

In addition to a performance during the ceremony by Italian tenor Andrea Bocelli, who sang “Con te Partiré” as the bride walked down the aisle on the arm of her stepfather, Bruce Jenner, a pianist later played standards including “Misty.”

At the reception, the first dance song was “At Last” performed by John Legend. The next songs played were “These Arms of Mine” and “A Little Tenderness” by Otis Redding, “Otis” by Kanye and Jay Z then Michael Jackson’s “Rock With You.”

The 16th-century fort has been lit up with bright red lights along the perimeter, creating a magical effect that could be seen across the Arno river. Meanwhile on the inside, the sprawling grounds were dotted with installations by contemporary American artist Vanessa Beecroft for the occasion.

Also in place – a 224-foot imperial marble table that had earlier been hoisted in by crane and served as a focal point of the dinner celebration, with guests seated along its two sides on a specially mounted platform that offers a breathtaking view of the Florence skyline.

On the menu: chicken, steak, salmon, tortelloni and both rosé and gold Armand de Brignac Champagne, both of which also flowed freely at the couple’s extravagant Versailles rehearsal dinner. And the impressive wedding cake was a towering seven-foot confection with white cake and white icing with fruit layers.

While the party, created by planner Sharon Sacks, remains in full swing, Kris Jenner‘s mom was one of the first to leave, and one set of the couple’s friends is partying an ocean away: Beyoncé and Jay Z are reportedly in the Hamptons.
