The longtime bandleader Tweets he still doesn't have a "definite plan" with Jay Leno
His plans are in flux, but Kevin Eubanks says that for now he’ll still be with Jay Leno when they return to the Tonight Show, but in a reduced capacity.
Eubanks, who joined the Tonight Show in 1992 and became bandleader two years later, reportedly was going to leave at some point after the show resumes March 1 following a disappointing prime-time run.
On Thursday, he took to his Twitter page to thank people for their messages and say: “I’ll still be around on the show, but less as of now. I’ll tweet when a definite plan is set. ”
