The Texas Two-step and the Macarena can now move over. The latest dance craze about to sweep the nation, it is being predicted in the finer lily ponds across the U.S., is the Kermambo. Leading this dance-floor frenzy is none other than Kermit the Frog, or so it was announced this week by Jim Henson Interactive, as part of the company’s launch of its latest MuppeToon, a 3-D musical extravaganza titled “The Kermambo” (and visible on the Muppet World Web site). “Kermit’s full-body, Broadway-style dancing will elicit the same wonder felt when people first saw him riding a bicycle in ‘The Muppet Movie,’ ” Craig Allen, general manager of Jim Henson Interactive, promised in a statement.

  • Correction: In an item that appeared in some editions of Wednesday’s PEOPLE.com Daily, it was mistakenly reported that ‘N Sync will deliver the National Anthem at Super Bowl XXXV on Jan. 28. In fact, the group will perform at the half-time show. PEOPLE.com regrets the error.
