If you could hold on to one second from today, which would it be?

If you could remember last year one second at a time, what would it look like?

Photographer Kent Frost, from Springfield, Mo., has made a “One second, every day” video for the past two years. While he struggled with inspiration occasionally in 2012, 2013 was less of a challenge: Kent’s son was born in November, so this video captures the run-up to that event, not to mention the events that brought the rest of us together in 2013: The Boston Marathon bombing, the government shutdown and Nelson Mandela’s death, to name a few.

And of course, it was 2013, so naturally there are plenty of selfies.

What would your “one second every day” video look like?
