Who says that Christmas music has to wait until after Thanksgiving? Not Kelly Clarkson!

The 32-year-old singer has released a brand new music video for the title track of her album Wrapped in Red, and it’s just what we need to keep us warm as the snow starts to set in along the East Coast.

The video is simple but sweet, featuring the American Idol winner belting out the song in a variety of glam outfits with clips of general merrymaking intercut throughout. The clips have a home video feel and feature everything from tree-lighting to tobogganing. Makes you long for the holiday season in earnest, right?

Fun fact: “Wrapped in Red,” which was co-written by Clarkson, was inspired by the moment in 2003’s Love Actually when Mark (Andrew Lincoln) professed his love to Juliet (Keira Knightley) using cue cards. (Thereby totally betraying his best friend, but whatever.)

Originally out in October 2013, Wrapped in Red was re-released a year later along with a special DVD of Clarkson’s Cautionary Music Tale, an NBC special that aired last December. With appearances from Reba McEntire, Blake Shelton and more, the special is just the thing to get you into the holiday spirit.
