The comedian tied the knot with visual artist Jill Knox in New York City Saturday
30 Rock‘s “Toofer” is now officially part of a twosome!
Keith Powell married visual artist Jill Knox in New York City on Saturday, his rep confirms to PEOPLE.
About 200 friends and family – including 30 Rock costars Katrina Bowden, Judah Friedlander and Maulik Panchol – gathered at Tribeca Rooftop to celebrate the newlyweds, who have been dating for four years.
The couple’s teary vows were both sweet and funny, as they shared with guests the moment they realized they were in love. (Knox, 30, knew she was smitten when she realized she was fine with wearing nightly earplugs to muffle Powell’s horrible snoring.)
For their big day, the groom wore a custom tux from Requisite Clothing while the bride glowed in a Rosa Clara gown. They shared their first dance to Elton John’s “Your Song” before sitting down to a dinner of sea bass and short ribs. At midnight, guests were treated to ice cream sandwiches. Throughout the reception, artists sketched guest portraits for the revelers.
Powell, 34, proposed to Knox last summer with an elaborately orchestrated picnic in the Hollywood Hills. He finally popped the question with a fortune cookie with the message: “Jill Knox, will you marry me?”
After 30 Rock wrapped at the end of 2012, Powell predicted his next big role would be dutiful groom. When asked about his future plans, Powell told USA Today, “I have a feeling that most of my energy will be focused on my upcoming wedding.”
