Band-aids don’t fix bullet holes, but maybe an apology will.

Katy Perry caused a frenzy on Twitter Saturday when she opened up the possibility of a collaboration with Taylor Swift, but the “Rise” singer had one big condition.

It began when Perry, 31, decided to answer fans’ questions on social media while waiting for her food to be delivered. When someone asked, “Will you collab with Taylor swift,” the pop star’s response was surprising.

“If she says sorry, sure!” Perry responded.

Is Katy Perry Throwing Shade at Taylor Swift?!

Although the two entertainers used to be friendly, things took a turn in 2014 when Swift claimed that her song “Bad Blood” was about an unnamed famous former friend who she said turned on her.

“For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not,” Swift told Rolling Stone. “She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, ‘Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'”

Swift continued, “She did something so horrible. I was like, ‘Oh, we’re just straight-up enemies.’ And it wasn’t even about a guy! It had to do with business.”

Fans quickly put the details together and guessed that Swift was referring to Perry. While Swift never confirmed who the song was about, the damage was done and the pair have had a frosty relationship ever since.

Most recently, Swift’s ex-boyfriend Calvin Harris slammed Swift on Twitter after PEOPLE reported that she was actually the writer behind his and Rihanna‘s hit, “This Is What You Came For.”

He was mostly fired up that Swift was “trying to tear your ex bf down for something to do,” but then he said, “I know you’re off tour and you need someone new to try and bury like Katy ETC but I’m not that guy, sorry. I won’t allow it.”

Swift, who has remained mostly quiet on social media in the wake of her reignited feud with Kanye West, has not responded to Perry’s latest revelation.
