The British comic – who popped the question to his pop star girlfriend during a trip to India last New Year’s – showed off a matching tattoo with his ladylove: They both got the Indian phrase “Anuugacchati Pravaha,” which means “Go with the Flow,” inked on the inside of their right arms.
Finding love with the Brand brought the pop star happiness – and a newfound sense of confidence. “I think he taught me a lot about inner beauty and confidence in myself,” Perry told Seventeen. “Without makeup, I feel ugly … He looks beyond all of that, which is such a win, because I’ve never felt that with anybody.”

Well, Brand does! The Get Him to the the Greek star released his second memoir, My Booky Wook 2: This Time It’s Personal in 2010. In the best-seller, he talked about meeting Perry at rehearsals for the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards, where she threw a plastic bottle at his head. Perry joked, “Got you on the head, huh? Kind of an easy target, it’s big and you’ve got that ridiculous hair.”
