The halftime show for the big game on Feb. 1 just got an extra dose of rock
Katy Perry is getting rock-star help for her first Super Bowl.
The “Dark Horse” singer announced on Saturday that she will be joined by Lenny Kravitz onstage during the Super Bowl XLIX Halftime Show
The National Football League announced in October that Perry would be headlining the big event, following such acts as Bruno Mars, who performed in 2014, and Beyoncé, who headlined the 2013 halftime show.
This isn’t the first time that a newer pop act has been paired with a veteran rock act during the halftime show – Mars performed last year alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, which drew in a record 111.5 million viewers.
Fans will be able to catch Perry and Kravitz during the Super Bowl on Feb. 1.
