Katie Holmes has some bad news for Dawson’s Creek fans.
During a appearance on SiriusXM’s Just Jenny Show, the actress shut down rumors of a possible DC reboot.
“I don’t think we’re going to do a reunion,” Holmes, 37, told the radio host. “We did grow up, but we see each other every now and then. I think that the charm of the show was Kevin Williamson’s writing and it was of that time and it gave teenagers this voice. It was a very, very special time — a special show and I loved every minute of it.”[soundcloud url="https://api.soundcloud.com/tracks/296534944" params="visual=true&auto_play=false&hide_related=false&show_comments=true&show_user=true&show_reposts=false" width="100%" height="450" iframe="true" /]
Though Holmes has shown interest in doing a reunion in the past, the possibilities seem to be stretching further and further away.
On Saturday, the former costars reunited for the first time in 13 years at Jeff Bezos and Matt Damon’s “Manchester By The Sea” Holiday Party in Los Angeles, California.
Earlier this year, Williams, 36, was asked about the chances of a possible reunion.
“I died,” the actress, 36, said on the Today show. “I would have to come back as a ghost – or put a lot of filters on the camera, and I’ll do flashback scenes. I think it’s a fun thing to sort of imagine. I like imagining it. But I haven’t really heard anybody say anything like actually serious about that happening.”
