Katie Couric is adding yet another line to her resumé: Global Anchor for Yahoo News.

Yahoo announced in an official press release that Couric, 56, will help to develop their news coverage while remaining on her talk show Katie on ABC.

“It’s very exciting to be a part of a leading company at the intersection of content and technology,” Couric said in the release.

“Joining Yahoo offers a tremendous opportunity to reach people all around the world in the way that they’re using and consuming media today.”

The news veteran will work with a team of global correspondents reporting on world events as well as anchor interviews for Yahoo News.
