Kathy Griffin is quick to fess up: She has no clue how to decorate a home.

“I have an eye for when it’s done well, but I can’t do it myself,” admits the Emmy-winning comedian. “It’s like nobody loves a great pizza more than I do, but I couldn’t make one if my life depended on it.”

So when it came to renovating her 7,300-sq.-ft. spread atop the Hollywood Hills, Griffin turned to her friend Lara Spencer, co-anchor of Good Morning America and a longtime interior designer.

“Lara would say, ‘We’re doing this,’ and I would just say, ‘Thank you,’ ” says Griffin, 52, whose only decor mandate was to “have a little fun.”

Now Griffin’s home is a “pretty bomb” pad, if Griffin does say so herself, with a “bright, Palm Springs, mid-century” style and an eclectic mix of high-end pieces and repurposed flea market and estate-sale finds.
