The princess-to-be and the duchess share a meal – and discuss the wedding?
Whether it was two potential queens swapping tips on the ways of the Windsor clan, an older royal guiding a princess-to-be, or just two ladies who lunch, this was one meal that set tongues wagging.
On Wednesday, Kate Middleton joined her future stepmother-in-law Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, at an upscale London hotel.
They were spotted sharing a meal by a fellow diner at Koffmann’s at The Berkeley hotel, PEOPLE confirms.
Some speculation suggests that they were discussing Kate’s upcoming wedding; the bride-to-be reportedly had a notebook with her.
PEOPLE has learned the duchess, 63, will join other members of the family giving Kate, 29, advice on royal life.
Aside from any wedding or Windsor chat, the ladies also would have had plenty in common with their respective princes out of town.
Prince Charles was away in Brussels, giving a speech at conference while it’s thought William, 28, was at his base at RAF Valley, North Wales.
