Kate Hudson is getting back to work … with her dad!

The actress took to Instagram on Monday to share a sweet video of herself and her father, Kurt Russell, riding in a helicopter. “Back to work and first time working with my Pa,” Hudson, 36, captioned the short clip.

Later in the day, the actress also posted an Instagram photo of Russell and Mark Wahlberg posing in front of a helicopter. She captioned the pic, “No Monday blues when you’re working with these fellas ? #DeepwaterHorizon.”

The project in question appears to be Deepwater Horizon, a film based on the true events surrounding the Deepwater Horizon oil rig explosion. The movie, due out in 2016, stars Hudson, Russell and Wahlberg, according to IMDb.com.

Hudson (whose biological father is mom Goldie Hawn‘s ex-husband Bill Hudson) has never shied away from naming Russell – who has been Hawn’s partner for more than 30 years – her father. Last March, the mom of two shared a sentimental message to Russell on his birthday, thanking him for his endless fatherly love.

“This is a man who made his family his number one priority his whole life,” Hudson wrote. “Never missed a school play, a soccer game, a hockey game, a dance recital and the list goes on and on. No matter what he was doing in his busy life, he always showed up. Not because he has to but because there was no other place on earth he would rather be than with his family. We felt the purity of that our whole childhood and my gratitude for his love is immeasurable.”

Last Father’s Day, Hudson shared another meaningful message to Russell, while her older brother, Oliver Hudson, slammed their biological father on Instagram.

“Happy abandonment day…” Oliver, 28, captioned a childhood photo of him, Kate and their biological father.

Just like Kate, Oliver later sent a loving message to Russell on Instagram.

“Before you came into my life, I was only potential and you made me, forced me, to find my confidence, my independence and strive or the elusive fearlessness that you so matter of factly possess … I look up to you and always will,” Oliver wrote in a belated birthday message to Russell.
