The actress said "I do" Saturday in Montana, PEOPLE confirms
Here comes the bride!
Kate Bosworth said “I do” to director Michael Polish on Saturday during an outdoor ceremony at The Ranch at Rock Creek in Philipsburg, Mont., PEOPLE confirms.
Guests such as Lake Bell and Walton Goggins – and, presumably, some cows – looked on as the couple exchanged their self-penned vows on a bluff set against a backdrop of hills, mountains and wildflowers, describes Martha Stewart Weddings. They later made their way to the property’s Granite Lodge, where guests were treated to a locally sourced dinner.
And the four-day wedding weekend was double the fun for the bride, who stunned in not one, but two Oscar de la Renta dresses: an ivory radzimir-satin strapless ball gown (complete with an 8 ft.-long, 16 ft.-wide train) for the ceremony and a floral embroidered tulle dress for the reception. The groom wore a three-piece charcoal Brooks Brothers suit.
The Superman Returns star, 30, met and fell in love with Polish, 42, when he directed her in the drama Big Sur in 2011. The sparks flew and it was love at first sight.
“I never even dated my husband-to-be,” Bosworth told InStyle UK in its September issue. “He said to me after just a few weeks before we were even together, ‘I’m going to marry you.’ He just knew.”
Bosworth confirmed her engagement in September of last year, Tweeting, “Thank you for all the wonderful engagement wishes…We feel truly blessed.”
This is the second marriage for Polish, who has a teenage daughter, Jasper, with make-up artist Jo Strettell. They divorced in 2004.
