The actress's fiancé Michael Polish organizes a lavish party at The Edison in Los Angeles
Kate Bosworth‘s 30th birthday may have been the most lavish period piece in which she’s ever starred.
The actress, who hit the milestone Jan. 2, was surprised by her fiancé Michael Polish with an opulent Roaring Twenties-themed birthday bash last Friday at The Edison in Los Angeles.
Some 100 of Bosworth’s closest friends and family, including her parents, toasted the actress with Champagne as she gave a short speech about how happy she was and grateful for the people in her life.
Most of the guests were in period attire, including flapper dresses and long necklaces, and tried on more 1920s-inspired jewelry at a special station hosted by Tous. (Bosworth was wearing eight pieces from the Spanish brand, as well.)
Bosworth’s friends in attendance included Dita Von Teese and Robin Antin.
A big band and an aerialist performed throughout the night, as guests enjoyed Green Fairy absinthe shots.
“Last night was magic,” Bosworth wrote on WhoSay the following day. “@michael_polish thank you for the greatest birthday bash! There are no words… Only this. xx,” she added, with a photo of the couple kissing.
