It’s a Kat fight!

Kat Von D and Jillian Reynolds are in a war of words on Twitter, following a morning show appearance gone wrong.

Reynolds, 44, and her Good Day L.A. co-host Jeff Michael were scheduled to have Von D, 29, on the program Wednesday to promote the new season of her TLC show L.A. Ink.

Michael introduced her saying, “She just broke up with fiancé Jesse James, but not before getting a tattoo of his childhood picture.”

Next thing the co-hosts knew, Von D disappeared.

“Kat Von D just walked out of the building,” Reynolds said. “I’m sure it’s because of the Jesse James stuff, but she talks about her personal life so much.”

Reynolds says she was not told that the split was off-limits for the interview. So it was a shock to the host when Von D later accused her and Michael via Twitter of showing a “lack of compassion [and] respect.”

“Why was it disrespectful?” Reynolds Tweeted back. “We said you guys broke up We showed the clip your publicist sent. It showed you and Jesse. Were we not supposed to mention you broke up?”

Von D replied that she objected to the “disrespectful intro you guys ‘snuck’ in.”

“Publicly disrespecting people for the sake of better ratings isn’t something a person of compassion does,” the tattoo artist continued. “Good day.”
