She may be a loyal, card-carrying member of Taylor Swift‘s squad, but there’s no “Bad Blood” between supermodel Karlie Kloss and Kim Kardashian West.

The 24-year-old weighed in on the feud between the singer and Kardashian West in an interview with Sunday Times Style magazine, reportedly becoming flustered and stumbling over her words when asked about the 35-year-old reality star.

“I think she’s been a lovely person to me in the past,” Kloss began. “Look, I really don’t know her that well.”

A months-long feud between Swift and the Wests over Kanye West‘s song “Famous” – in which he calls Swift a “bitch” and implies that he made her famous – came to a head last month when Kardashian West posted a headline-making Snapchat story of the “Style” singer and Kanye, 39, discussing the lyrics – with Swift seemingly giving her approval.

Kloss, who shares a manager with the rapper, according to the Times, has kept pretty quiet as the West-Swift feud has unfolded in recent months. And she said that despite her Swift squad-member status, she keeps her circle small.

“My closest friends, really, are my sisters and my mum,” Kloss also told the Times.

Kloss soon took to social media to clear up any misconceptions as a result of the interview.

“I will not allow the media to misconstrue my words,” she tweeted. “Taylor has always had my back and I will always have hers.”

She added in a follow-up post: “And I will never be the girl that you can use to pit women against each other. That isn’t me.”

Kloss has referred to Swift as her best friend on several occasions, including last month when she tweeted about Swift’s birthday wishes for her: “When you’re halfway around the world & your best friend still finds a way to celebrate 24 with you.”

A rep for Kloss did not immediately return request for comment.
