One thing this Kardashian hasn’t been keeping up with is current events – and she’s the first to admit it.

Striking a light, self-deprecating tone for a serious cause, Kim Kardashian filmed a PSA for cyclone-struck Myanmar, also known as Burma, which is plagued by an oppressive military regime. The reality starlet is shown trying on a tight-fitting dress for a fancy benefit for a country she’s never heard of.

“Burping?” Kim asks her sister.

“Not burping,” she’s told. “Burma!”

“I was kidding,” Kim says, posing in a full-length mirror. “I wrote my whole thesis on Burma. It’s a terrible situation over there.”

On her the star of Keeping Up With the Kardashians says: “It just makes me think: A few months ago I had no idea about the problems of Burma … and now I am simply devastated.”
