Why the Kardashian-Jenner Sisters 'Are Making an Effort' to Welcome Blac Chyna into Their Family: Source
"Just a year or two ago, none of them could get Rob to even leave the house, and now he's happily celebrating Khloe's birthday out in public," a source tells PEOPLE exclusively
On Monday, the engaged and expectant couple turned up to celebrate Khloé Kardashian’s 32nd birthday at Dave & Buster’s in Hollywood, and Chyna even posed for some fun photos with her future sisters-in-law, Kim Kardashian West, Kourtney, Kylie Jenner, and mom Kris Jenner.
“The girls have really come around since Rob and Chyna first got together,” a Kardashian source tells PEOPLE exclusively. “They’re trying to be as supportive as possible, especially now that she is pregnant.”
Though the source admits “it was shocking” for Rob’s sisters when he first hooked up with Chyna (who is the ex of Kylie Jenner’s on-and-off boyfriend Tyga), even they couldn’t turn a blind eye to their brother’s happiness.
“They’ve seen the transformation Rob has made,” says the source. “Just a year or two ago, none of them could get him to even leave the house, and now he’s happily celebrating Khloé’s birthday out in public.”
On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé urged her sisters not to congratulate their brother on his engagement after he proposed without telling them, but the family’s attitude has certainly changed post-filming.
“The girls are making an effort to put any drama behind them and make Chyna feel welcome,” says the source.
