Leave Kanye West alone – until he finishes his new album, at least.

The rapper took to Twitter on Saturday to deliver a special message.

“No offense to anyone I’m asking everyone DON’T ASK ME FOR ANYTHING TILL AFTER I’M FINISHED WITH MY ALBUM,” the rapper tweeted to his more than 16 million followers.

Just moments before, West posted another tweet, announcing: “I’m finishing my album and my next collection.”

Earlier this year, the 38-year-old announced that his seventh studio album would be titled Swish, and fans have been patiently waiting for new music from the star.

But Yeezy has a lot on his plate these days, as he and wife Kim Kardashian West recently welcomed their second child, Saint West.

The proud father was seen smiling from ear to ear last week during his first outing since Saint’s birth.

A source previously told PEOPLE that the couple have been “managing to get some sleep” since welcoming little Saint.

“Kanye was really supportive at the hospital,” the source told PEOPLE. “And at home, as always, he treats [Kim] like a queen. She’s his queen. Having Saint hasn’t changed that.”
