Kanye West: Rapper, designer … McDonald’s enthusiast?
In his latest attention-grabbing move, the 39-year-old rapper penned a poem titled “The McDonald’s Man” about the fast food chain for Frank Ocean‘s magazine Boys Don’t Cry – which was released on Saturday in conjunction with his new album, Blonde, Entertainment Weekly reports.
“McDonald’s man/ McDonald’s man/ The French fries had a plan/ The French fries had a plan,” West wrote. “The salad bar and the ketchup made a band/ Cus the french fries had a plan.”
Social media users soon began posting the magazine spread, complete with the poem and accompanying photos of West purchasing food at a drive-thru.
Ocean’s Blonde features several credits including Beyoncé, David Bowie and Kendrick Lamar, EW reports. And the magazine boasts credits including Tyler the Creator and ASAP Rocky, according to Billboard.
Blonde followed the release of the 28-year-old singer’s visual album Endless on Thursday.
