Kaley Cuoco 'Extremely Focused' During Horse-Riding Competition, One Day After Divorce Announcement, Source Says
Cuoco and Ryan Sweeting "mutually decided" to split after 21 months of marriage, her rep told PEOPLE Friday
The Big Bang Theory actress competed Saturday in Flintridge Riding Club in La Cañada Flintridge, California, in a horse-jumping event as part of the Flintridge Autumn Classic.
She did very well, a source tells PEOPLE:
“She was extremely focused during the event. You could tell that she was really enjoying being a part of the horse classic.”
Cuoco has been spending her free time staying “very busy,” a second source says: “She loves working out. She often goes to the gym and enjoys spinning classes too. She also loves spending time at her riding club.”
Cuoco, 29, and Sweeting, 28, “mutually decided” to split after 21 months of marriage, her rep told PEOPLE exclusively on Friday.
The couple had been surrounded by rumors of tension since April.
“They ask for privacy at this time. No further statement will be issued regarding this matter,” Cuoco’s rep said on Friday.
On Saturday, the same day she competed in the classic, Cuoco introduced her new horse Zaza on Instagram. Cuoco was not wearing her wedding or engagement rings in the photo.
Cuoco is expected to make her first public appearance at the Longines Masters of Los Angeles, where she will ride at the annual event.
