The clip for “#WHEREISTHELOVE” ft. The World includes bandmates will.i.am, apl.de.ap, Taboo, and Fergie along with Justin Timberlake, who sang on the original version. Also featured are music luminaries like Mary J. Blige, DJ Khaled, Usher, Diddy, Andra Day, Nicole Scherzinger, Snoop Dogg and so many more. Winnie Harlow, Kris Jenner, Rosario Dawson and Connie Britton have also lent their support to the cause. But the most impactful appearances are from those whose lives have been forever altered by gun violence. Alton Sterling’s aunt Sandra is included, as is Philando Castile’s mother Valerie, and Dallas Police Chief David O. Brown. The band explained the reason behind the song’s rerelease in a short video. “I remember when the Paris attack happened, people would say, we need ‘Where Is The Love?’ again,” says will.i.am. “And then Belgium happened. And then Turkey, and then Orlando, and then Philando, and Alton before him, and then Dallas. Everyone was calling on us, like, ‘We need that song again.'”
