One thing is certain about Justin Timberlake and Cameron Diaz: The couple will be working together on Shrek 3.

What is not so certain: Reports that they are to be married next weekend at the exclusive Grand-Hotel Du Cap-Ferrat in the South of France.

Word of the upcoming nuptials apparently was leaked because one of Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne’s aides told the British tabloid News Of The World that the Osbournes wouldn’t be able to attend daughter Kelly’s gig in London next Saturday “because they’ll be in Nice for JT’s wedding.”

The paper goes on to report that the hotel – where the couple reportedly met two years ago while attending the nearby Cannes Film Festival – is fully booked for an unspecified event next weekend.

Timberlake’s New York spokesman, Ken Sunshine, replied “No comment” when asked by the New York Post about the report. Diaz’s rep did not respond to a request for comment.

As for the onscreen pairing of Timberlake, 24, and Diaz, 31, USA Today reports that he will play a young King Arthur in the computer-animated Shrek 3, due to be released in May 2007. In the film series, Diaz provides the voice of Mrs. Shrek, a.k.a. Princess Fiona.

Arthur, a rebellious royal, has no interest in ascending to the throne, leaving it to Shrek (voiced by Mike Myers) to persuade him otherwise, says the film’s producer, Aron Warner.

Asked by USA Today if he’s got any inside info about the private side of Timberlake and Diaz, Warner replied: “I’m the last person to ask about gossip.”
