Justin Bieber didn’t let a sprain slow down his Friday night concert at the U.S. Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Though the 22-year-old singer twisted his ankle earlier that day during a game of pickup basketball with friends, he powered through his performance that night, part of his Purpose World Tour.

“Gonna be taking it easy tonight on stage sprained my ankle playing ball,” he said on Instagram before the show.

Bieber appeared in good spirits about the accident though, adding “smh, all good still gonna crush.”

On stage, the singer seemed to have recovered well from the accident, with fans capturing video of him going all-out during his dance routines.

Bieber himself even posted a clip of his performance on Instagram, jumping around during the concert.

This isn’t the first accident Bieber has been in while on tour. Last week, the “Love Yourself” singer was in Saskatoon, Canada, when he fell through an open trapped door in his path.

“Good thing I’m like a cat and landed on my feet,” he told the crowd after getting up. “That scared the f— outta me.”

Bieber’s tour has also had its fair share of controversy. Earlier this month he was involved in a fist fight outside of a Cleveland hotel, and in mid-May he canceled all concert meet-and-greets following an incident with a fan in Boston.

“Two months into [the tour], and he already feels beat,” a Bieber insider previously told PEOPLE. “He’s not losing it, though. He’s just trying to find ways to focus.”
