Justin Bieber Look-alike Featured in 'Botched' Reported Missing

Tobias Strebel once claimed to have spent $100,000 on plastic surgery

A California man who once claimed to have spent $100,000 on plastic surgery in order to look like Justin Bieber has been reported missing, PEOPLE has confirmed.

Tobias “Toby” Strebel, 35, was last seen on Aug. 18 in the 1700 block of North Orange Grove Avenue in West Hollywood, according to ABC7.

Strebel was reported missing that same day, a Los Angeles Police Department official says, and he could be driving a Toyota Camry.

“This is very unusual for him to be missing. He hasn’t done any, not shown up for no reason, no note or anything,” friend Mel Espinoza told ABC7.

Strebel is perhaps best known for appearing on E!’s Botched and was shown recording his own music. In that episode, he described Bieber as the “whole package,” with “bright, open eyes,” “full, luscious lips” and his swept-over bangs.

Strebel said in that episode that his goal was to look like how Bieber used to look when he was “really young.” He said his “ultimate dream” was to duet with the pop star.

Anyone with information about Strebel is encouraged to contact the LAPD at 213-972-2976.
