What do you get when Justin Bieber jumps off a cliff?

Nope, that’s not a riddle, but it did entice a pack of photographers and videographers to capture the pop star’s leap of faith in Hawaii Wednesday.

After a year that has included facing graffiti charges in Brazil, getting hoisted up the Great Wall of China and declaring that Anne Frank “would have been a Belieber,” the singer made his thrilling jump in the Aloha state

Fear not, Bieber fans: The star makes a splash – not a splat – in the video above, which shows the 19-year-old on top of a cliff in red swimming trunks with a camera-wielding crowd behind him.

He looks momentarily fearful as he glances back, but then makes the leap into the churning water before starting his swim back to shore.

Bieber won’t likely be heading to Rio de Janeiro as a diver for the 2016 Olympic Games (graffiti charges aside) – but we’ll give him an A for effort.
