Bieber’s neighbor in his gated community in Calabasas, Calif., called the police on him Thursday night after he allegedly pelted his house with eggs, the L.A. County Sheriff Department Office confirms.

“It’s currently under investigation and [Justin Bieber] is a named suspect,” L.T. Jennifer Barsh tells PEOPLE.

According to TMZ, a neighbor confronted Bieber, 19, as he hurled eggs at the neighbor’s front door. The site obtained video of what sounds like Bieber and his neighbor verbally attacking each other.

The victim told TMZ damage to his property far exceeds $400.

Bieber may be charged with misdemeanor vandalism. The singer’s reps could not be reached for comment.

In November of last year, Bieber was charged by cops in Brazil for “defacing a building or urban monument by graffiti or other means.” And back in April, Swedish police raided his tour bus and confiscated a small amount of a substance reported to be marijuana.
