Justin Bieber's Really Bad U.K. Trip Explained in 5 Clicks
1. (Un)happy Birthday to Me
Justin Bieber's March got off to a rocky start over a claim Will Smith's underage son Jaden, 14, joined him in a nightclub to celebrate his 19th birthday, only to have their whole entourage kicked out. Calling it his "worst birthday," Biebs later took to
Instagram and blamed "dummies pushing over my fans and being overly aggressive."
2. Olivia Wilde Is Not Impressed
After a bare-chested Bieber was photographed, Olivia Wilde complained March 1 on Twitter: "Bieber, put your f–cking shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt.)" That wasn't his only curious fashion statement: On Feb. 26 he stepped out in what appeared to be a bright yellow, stud-covered construction cap, purple diaper-shaped leopard pants and a beer can-themed sweatshirt.
3. Fans Fume at Concert
Better late than never wasn't the case for Bieber when he got serious flack from fans who said he was two hours tardy for his O2 Arena show. Bieber later blamed "some technical issues," but acknowledged "there is no excuse for that and I apologize for anyone we upset." He added that he actually was 40 minutes late when factoring in the opening acts.
4. Twitter Rant
"Rumors rumors and more rumors," was the start of an 11-Tweet post by a fed-up (and grammatically challenged) Bieber on Thursday. "Nothing more nothing less. might talk about them 1 day. rt now im just gonna be positive. cant bring me down … Im focused on the good things in life. im blessed and not forgetting it. im giving back every day for it. cant phase (sic) me."
5. LOSES HIS BREATH, THEN HIS SHIRT AGAIN
Suffering breathing problems throughout a March 7 show, Bieber collapsed on stage at London's O2 Arena, sucked down some emergency oxygen backstage, then came back to finish his performance before being whisked to the hospital. There, he Tweeted another photo of himself shirtless, blaming his ordeal on the paparazzi and vowing to "get focused" and return to the stage. "Not gonna let them get the best of me again," he wrote.
