Julia Roberts plays a superstar actress besieged by the press in the upcoming art-imitates-life film “Notting Hill,” but she says it’s not so bad being famous. “It’s an excellent life. I’m rich. I’m happy. I have a great job,” she tells Vanity Fair in the June issue. “I travel hither and yon to fabulous places. I’m surrounded by wonderful, interesting people. I live a privileged life — hugely privileged. It would be absurd to pretend that it’s anything different.”
