They’ll always have Paris.

Ryan Seacrest and Julianne Hough are making the most of their holiday vacation: the pair – along with Seacrest’s parents and sister – have hit a selection of restaurants, art galleries and shops, as well as a sold-out Monet exhibition.

On Wednesday, Seacrest and Hough visited LUMAS Paris on Rue de Seine where the American Idol host, 35, bought a limited edition Larry Yust photograph of a Paris Metro station.

Later, the party of five headed to lunch at Restaurant Frederic Simonin, where the group drank wine and sampled the chef’s signature dishes. There’s “nothing extravagant about them, no airs,” a restaurant employee tells PEOPLE. “They all shared dishes and tried things from each other.”

After a quiet family Thanksgiving – and plenty of time kissing, cuddling and posing for pictures on their balconied terrace – Seacrest and Hough were spotted again Friday, braving the cold to catch impressionist painter Monet’s exhibition at the Grand Palais.

The group then lunched at Willi’s Wine Bar near the Palais-Royale before heading to the local Christian Louboutin boutique, where they purchased “no less than three pairs” of new shoes. After all, proper footwear is essential when playing tourist.
