Julianne Hough: It's 'Hard' to Find Good Girlfriends
It was a girls night out for newly single Julianne Hough who split from Ryan Seacrest in late March, at City Year Los Angeles‘s Third Annual Spring Break: Destination Education at Sony Studios in Culver City, Calif., on Saturday.
“It’s all about fun,” Hough told PEOPLE about enjoying an evening out with her gal pals. “There’s no pressure.”
The Safe Haven actress, who arrived with Gossip Girl‘s Jessica Szohr, admitted making real friends isn’t always easy. “It’s hard to find good girls,” says Hough. “When you find them you have to stick together.”
While she did make time to mingle with a few male attendees such as actors Colin Egglesfield and Geoff Stults, most of the night was spent giggling with Szohr who said of Hough, “She is very down to earth. We have a good time.”
Other attendees at the star-studded event – which raised $1.3 million for students who are at risk of dropping out of school and drew more than 1,400 guests in total – included New Girl‘s Max Greenfield, Julianne Hough, Glee‘s Chord Overstreet, Octavia Spencer, Gossip Girl star Ed Westwick, Modern Family‘s Ariel Winter and more.
