5. “The Ninth Gate,” $3.5 million.
6. “The Whole Nine Yards,” $3.2 million.
7. “American Beauty,” $2.9 million.
8. “The Cider House Rules,” $2.4 million.
9. “Snow Day,” $2.2 million.
