Dating apps are all the rage — but what does a celebrity like Joshua Jackson think of them?

During an appearance on Tuesday’s Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor, who split from longtime girlfriend Diane Kruger in July, opened up about how the dating game has evolved since the last time he was single.

“That has got to be so strange — it would be so hard to start dating again after 10 years,” remarked host Ellen DeGeneres, 58.

“Yeah,” admitted Jackson, 38. “And things have changed a little bit since the last time I was single — maybe it was there, but I don’t remember all of [it]. I mean, everything’s in your phone now, right?”

“You just swipe … that’s how you pick somebody now,” said DeGeneres.

“Yeah exactly, there’s no more talking to people anymore! You talk to somebody and they’re like: ‘Uh, no, no, no,’ ” quipped Jackson, mimicking disgust. ” ‘We don’t do that anymore.’ So yeah, it’s been quite a big change.”

But that being said, we probably can’t expect to find him on Tinder anytime soon. When DeGeneres asked if he would ever try a dating app, the actor laughed.

“What would my Match.com profile be?” he said.

Meanwhile, The Affair star probably doesn’t have too much trouble in the romance department — especially considering all those steamy nude scenes on the hit drama.

“Are you going to be as naked as you’ve been in the past?” DeGeneres asked of this season, which is currently airing on Showtime. “There was a lot of nakedness of you.”

“There was a lot of naked, yeah,” admitted Jackson. “[In the pilot episode] I don’t even think they gave me a wardrobe. I just walked around naked.”

And while he confirmed that “there’s less naked this year,” DeGeneres still made a point to present the actor with a special gift: a Christmas-themed version of the itty-bitty nude thong that Jackson wears during all those naked scenes.

“It’s the holidays — and you may be dating again,” she quipped. Merry Christmas, The Affair fans!

The Ellen DeGeneres Show airs weekdays (check local listings) and The Affair airs Sundays (10 p.m. ET) on Showtime.
