The couple got engaged on the season 33 finale of Bachelor in Paradise
Since finding love and getting engaged on season 3 of Bachelor in Paradise, the former Bachelor and Bachelorette stars have moved in together in Stanton’s Orange County home and are finding their new normal.
“We’re enjoying life, enjoying the kids and having a good time. We love each other. We’re having a blast,” Murray, 32, told Entertainment Tonight at 102.7 KIIS-FM’s Jingle Ball on Friday.
Although Stanton, who is a single mother of two, says that the couple’s relationship has gotten stronger since the cameras stopped rolling this past summer, she admits that the duo has endured “a lot in the past couple months.”
“I mean, kind of merging our families together. He brought his dog with him, he’s meeting my kids, so, we’ve done a lot, but I feel like we’ve definitely gotten stronger out of it. We’re really happy,” the Bachelor alum, 26, says.
To get to that place of happiness, Murray notes that “we’ve been through the gauntlet for sure,” but he is pleased with his decision to move across the country to be with his bride-to-be and her two daughters. “It’s been a great decision. I love her little ones more than anything, so we’re having a lot of fun out here and we’re excited.”
Shortly after he popped the question to Stanton, the 32-year-old gushed about being in love. “Amanda is an amazing woman. She is the best woman I’ve ever met in my entire life… She’s beautiful not only on the outside, but it radiates on the inside, and that’s what I love the most about her,” he said about Stanton. “She has a calming factor that helps out in tough situations that we had to take on during this entire journey.”
